An economic moat is all about a business's ability to maintain a competitive edge over its competitors - as a medieval moat would do to protect the surrounding castle. That's what we do with our investments.

Beyond developing its own products & services, Moat also invests in projects which cumulatively demonstrate the following three characteristics: Green, Ethical, and Innovative.

We’re not looking for projects who simply meet the ESG criteria - we want the visioners who want to shake the markets. Since we only invest in a handful of companies a year, it means we can focus solely on those projects that matter.
